Dana Goldstein, associate editor and education reporter for The American Prospect, joins us to address some of the most pressing questions about public education in today’s economy: how is the current economy affecting public schools, are schools finding creative ways to make ends meet, how is stimulus money being used to save jobs, how is that money being used to push for new reforms (and what interesting reforms are on the horizon)?
We’ll discuss this and much more with our debut guest.

About Dana Goldstein
I am so glad we have a radio show devoted to issues surrounding education. The recession is not the biggest problem, it is the poor management of the school system at the local, state, and national level. Teachers are treated poorly in the state of NC whether we are in a recession or not and ultimate the children suffer.
